Japanese Red Maple...... so sweet <3
You guessed it…. those are the names of the colors we selected to use in painting the shoppe. When we chose the colors and then looked at the names on the cards, I laughed out loud. I mean really…… could two names be more fitting for the paint colors for the walls and trim of The Purple Pathe?
We have been at it hard and heavy finishing up the shoppe. We started the texturing with a bang and ended it with a whimper……LOL
I was so excited to get started with texturing the walls and euphoric when we finished. It was hard work, (again) but an amazing journey. We hand rubbed every inch of the walls and ceiling of the shoppe; injecting it with all types of energy. We drew magickal and ancient symbols in the wet plaster and I must say…. it has paid off. The energy in the shoppe grows stronger each day.
One friend who came and helped apply texture and added symbols with us, made a comment that the shoppe is like a space ship and it’s going to be almost impossible to keep it on the ground. I believe she may be right.
At any rate….. I finally took a minute to add more pictures, so I hope you enjoy the next installment in the journey that is The Birth of The Purple Pathe.
